You have to find and remove the snake.

During the putrefying stage, you'll have the rotting smell (it might even get worse) until all the fluids in the snake's carcass have dried up.
Do you have a dog? If so, let the dog sniff around the car and he might be able to locate the dead snake so you can get it out of there.

The best way to get rid of the smell is to try to locate the source of the stench and remove it. All animals especially small ones like heat. So they usually head for the engine area. A lot of critters get stuck in the dash board or glove compartment. Most likely that snake got stuck and got electrocuted that's why the smell is so prominent so quickly. If you cannot find the animal then send it to a car cleaner or your local body shop so they can properly remove the dashboard cover and easily pull it out.

There are always the bacteria killing air sprays, if all else fails.

Good-Luck

Well i would suggest finding the dead animal and removing it for starters. Then wash the area with soap and water and then spray with disinfectant. Put open boxes of baking powder in your car to absorb the Oder's. After awhile remove the boxes and the smell should be gone but if it's still there repeat the washing and spraying again. Good Luck

Find the carcass and spray ODO-BAN in the area where it died. Look under the dash, under ALL the seats (physically take them out of hte car), and under the rug in the front passenger and driver foot well.
