Yeah I have and I've come to the conclusion that if you didn't experience the lows you wouldn't appreciate the highs. It's a balancing act of sorts. It'd be nice to only have the highs but then you'd start taking them for granted. The cruelty of love is just a reminder of how great love can be.

Love can be the greatest thing in the world when you're in it. But it can also be your worst nightmare when you're out of it. Love itself itsn't cruel. Selfish people who don't think about the consequences of their actions are the cruel ones.
