he put it on his inner thighs, but it migrated to his balls somehow. help, please! hes in a lot of pain!

unfortunately this is something he will have to wait out...
do NOT apply cold water to the area (this is a common reaction b/c people think the cold will soothe the burning). this will actually make the burning sensation worse. warm water might help but stop it immediately if he complains of pain or burning.
he can try taking ibuprofen for the pain. take 200-400mg every 4-6 hours as needed but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
if the pain is so unbearable that he is doubling over or unable to move-take him to the emergency room.

Gently wash it with warm - not hot - water. If you have a shower spray that would work better. Gently pat the area dry. This should give him relief.
