See, this is why more people need to be schizophrenic. They never get lonely, especially on the path less traveled :P

I truly think that any path that is not paved by millions of footsteps will be lonely. Yet dreams can provide wonderful company. Not a lot of people want to seek out their own path, create their own journey. Most are content to live through the actions of others. But it's important to realize that anyone can walk the path of someone else, it takes courage to step outside the box and move beyond what is comfortable. Even if nobody is around, faith in one's self and what they plan to accomplish can be of great comfort.

But then again, a partner certainly does help stomach the unknown. It's nice to have someone there beside you, going through the same things, seeing what you're seeing, experiencing what you're experiencing. Plus, it's important to have the perspective of others. It's educating. And... it's just nice to have 'someone' there.

I don't know.

It's lonely but it's worth it.

It is less travelled but not travelled alone necessarily. Bring a friend, bring a pet. Bring a chia pet. And some potato salad. My thoughts on the poem are that you travel this road mentally. Think outside the box. There are fewer millionares than regular people, but it is still a large club, with plenty of room. But you have to be willing to leave the comfort of normalcy to join.

If you can stomach the partner then it will not be a lonely path.
