"God Of War" for PS2? Is this game as good as they say?

I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't own this game for their PS2. Is this game as good as all the hype I hear about it? Should I buy it and are you buying GOW2 coming out soon?

If your planning to buy GOW2, I suggest that you buy God of War first. Its one of the top games ever created. In graphics, gameplay and even the controls are superb(very easy to play even your just a beginnner)... The puzzles in the game are moderate. It also have a great storyline. GOW2 is the sequel of GOW. Also, if you finish the GOW once, it will enable short film about the background of the character itself(KRATOS) and also some idea about the sequel. Bonus also includes the making of GOW and some cool stuff like challenge of the gods which after finishing it, you can choose different custome for Kratos if you play the spartan or normal mode.

You can finish it in a day but maybe after you have already know how to finish it(which is different in my situation cause I have finish it for 22 hrs non-stop on my first try). I'll definitly gonna buy GOW2 this FEB(actually it will release here on MARCH in the PHILIPPINES)...

BTW: This game is not good for kids because of the Violence and NUDITY nature of the game...

Well its a great game but it is very short, I finished it in 3 days, then it's the same thing every time which gives it very little replay value. I would recommend San Andreas because it is much bigger and it never gets old.

I have it (technically it's my bro's) and it was fun watching him play. I haven't played it yet, but it's definitely on my list of stuff to do. He loved it, and we used to fight each other for the PS2 cause I was playing MGS at the same time.

I have that game (I own it).
I think its creepy, I hate creepy games.
But the graphics is amazing, I love the graphics
