Well Juggalo this is very serious situation you have described. In my opinion your brother should own up and take his lumps for this or else someone else may end up taking the fall for it, up to and including yourself. It would be wise for your brother to retain a lawyer and then turn himself into the police. I know it will be frightening for you both but morally and ethically it is the proper thing to do. You as his brother will have to be supportive of him and you both may take some name calling for this action but should not get revengeful as it will only lead to more charges. I suppose it would be wise if you and your brother asked your parents to sit down and explain to them what has happened also. Best of luck to you both with this situation.

What a horrible situation to be in! I am sorry that you are faced with such a tough moral dilemma.
But the fact of the matter is that your brother committed a terrible crime! He violated a young girl and he has to pay for it. If he is the kind of person that would do this once then he will do it again and it is now in your hands to stop him.
Can you go to your parents with this information?
I know that you don't want you brother to know that you told... maybe you should make an anonymous call to the police dept.
He has to be held accountable for this!
Be a stand up guy and do the right thing! It doesn't matter if that poor girl was drunk and/or passed out at the time! Your brother has done something very bad!
Please do the right thing!

Wow! You know if this girl has lied about her age and has been drinking at a party and then claims to be raped while being intoxicated, she also can be in trouble. She can say that she was raped, but has given permission for sex.
You don't know the whole story. If your brother was involved with her, then he needs to come clean and turn himself in and prove to the courts that he didn't do it, or that he did do it. He needs to tell the truth.
Remember, he is innocent until proven guilty. If there were also many people there at the party, you know there were witnesses. Where are they now?

Talk to your bro and your family, if you cant do that then maybe make an call to your local PD and inform them of what is going on with out leaving your name, this tip will leave you with out having to explain anything to your family. with DNA testing the law can prove or disprove rape. If she went to the hospital for a rape kit. If you dont at least attempt to solve this it will come up on you through life. im not trying to make you feel bad, i understand that this is your family but to be honest you dont really know if he did it or not. you were not there to witness it. but doing this without leaving your name will help you and this girl. If your brother did this then he needs to answer for his consequences but most of all he needs some kind of help so he does not do this again. This is a life changing desision that you should talk to someone about, a good place to go is a church or even a help line, dont take this all on your shoulders, remember your brother did this not you. take care.

This is a tough one. First of all, you are to be commended for having the strong moral standing to ask this question. Before taking any action by yourself, you should talk to him and try to convince him to take responsibility for it. Rape is a serious crime. This girl is so young, it is going to impact her entire life from this point on. If he refuses, ask yourself, can you live with yourself if you do not do the right thing? Do you see the potential in him to do this kind of thing again? My guess is yes, if he was able to do it in the first place. If it did happen to another girl, are you going to feel in some way responsible knowing that you could have prevented it? As difficult as it is to do the right thing in a situation that involves your sibling, you don't want to carry the burden of his mistakes on your back.

This is tough. Best thing to do is ask your brother what he wants to do and tell him you support him in whatever decision he makes. If you didn't do it, it's not your issue. If he did it, it's his issue...not yours. If he makes a decision you don't agree with , that's his issue, not yours. Tell him how you feel but give him your brotherly support.
