I hope you have some luck doing that, there are some Vets who are willing to help only if you pay them for the medicine and not their fee. I wish you luck and hope you find a better paying job or a better income resource. Thanks for loving your pet that much.......I've been there done that.

I'm sorry to say but the best way to care for your animal if you can't afford to look after it is to find it an owner who can. I have been in the position where as I couldn't afford the necessary requirements that my pet needed and it is selfish to keep a pet and jeopardise it's health and well being because you don't want it to go. You need to do what is best for the animal and if that means finding it a new home well then so be it.

Try the local human society or animal rescue organization for your type of pet. Ask them if they know of any funds that are available for low income pet owners to help you afford the shots.

There are alot of different vets that give your pet shots discounted, you will have to call around,... have you tried petmeds.com? you can give the vaccine to your pet yourself, but you cant use that as proof to a vet, like if you were going to board the animal while you were away. That is the only downfall of you giving the vaccine yourself.

Some petco stores have flyers for reduced pet vaccines..I noticed them yesterday but really didnt read into them. I know that one flyer advertised $5 rabies vaccines. Check it out.

You have to have a record of rabies vaccination so it would not help to order the shots over the Internet. If you can't afford the shots, get rid of them. Sorry.

I was in the same situation, and I called my vet and offered to volunteer to clean cages or whatever he needed in exchange for the shots. He happily agreed, and my pet was taken care of.If your vet does not go for it,try another one until you find one that does.Good Luck

Try an animal shelter. If they can't do it maby they can help you find some one to do it.You obviously care about you're pet. Try putting an ad in the local paper.I'm sure there is some kind sole who would help you.
