what is it called when a guitarist........?

when they use both hands on the fret board like ive seen alot of guitarists do it. one hand will be tapping down on the strings and the other is just playing...............does anyone know?

It's called "tapping" or "two-handed tapping"

It's called finger-tapping ironically enough. Don't ask me for any more details I'm a drummer, sorry.
