It's from the second episode. Kagome frees Inuyasha from the tree in the first episode. But, at that point, he hasn't turned into a "good guy" yet. He attacks Kagome to try to get the jewel and Kaede puts the "beads of subjugation" around his neck. This magical charm will protect her but she needs to use the words of subjugation. Since he's half-dog, she comes up with "sit boy" and this is how she can control him and keep him from attacking people. Since he turns into a "good guy" rather quickly, the "sit boy" command is then used for humor.

During the second episode after Inuyasha defeated Mistress Centipede he was going to kill kagome for the jewel. So Kaede put on a enchanted necklace and told kagome to say something.. Since Inuyasha was a dog demon she picked sit boy.

Kagome puts on the beads of conjugation on him so he wont get into trouble. "Sit Boy" is just a incantation she made up cause he is half dog, lol. Only Kagome and maybe Kikiyo can say it. Its funny and sometimes it protects Inuyasha

Because of his enchanted necklace whenever she says "sit" or "sit boy" he goes down. She says it when shes annoyed with him or when it will protect him. You can watch the first episodes on myspace.
