Yes, Im a huge Guns n Roses fan (nearly 20 years now) and was very disapointed whenever Axl Rose tried to branch off into rap/techno music, should just stick to plain and simple hard rock.

Yeh - most of my favorite musicians go through "icky phases".
Some of these phases last longer than others. I gave up on pop music altogether because it all sounds the same now...
"blah blah blah... my shakin' booty... blah blah blah... get that money maker out on the floor... blah blah"
I really hate it when older pop stars try to compete with young little flaky things for attention - the point is that as you get older, you should become a more talented and "well seasoned" musician... not just an older ho...

Yes, the Beatles came out with a lot of songs that I hated. yellow Submarine and Dr. Roberts were two of them, but fortunately they had more good songs than bad ones.
