I have never been raped or raped anyone, I was just wondering because I know someone who was raped and they seem to supress their feelings about it...

I didn't say it was, Rosie, if you don't want to answer then don't answer. Delete your answer and give back the two points if you are just gonna say stupid stuff like that.

Yes, to the first question, and do you really think someone is going to admit that they have raped someone? I think not....

I have and I know a close friend that was and beaten badly along with another girl and they were left for dead. You wouldn't believe how differently they have both dealt with it, one it totally screwed her up, the other one is a very confident and outgoing and even lived in the same town as one of the guys that did this to her. you learn to live with it and get on with your life and not let it hold you back from being the person that you are, it sucks and it's demeaning but you cry, get mad,and get it out of your system and you carry on living your life dwelling on it isn't going to make it go away. But if your friend needs to talk to someone she should see a rape counselor and talk it out but if pretending it didn't happen is her way of dealing with it then she is doing what she needs to do, and I wish her well.

People who have been raped generally do supress their feelings. It is easier to burry what happened than to face the fact that it did. If you want to be helpful to your friend, support them, show them your love and do not push them to discuss it. This could be detrimental to their mental and emotional state. They will discuss it when they are ready to. Be supportive and let them come around. In time they will, but not until they are ready to!

That is a pretty DEEP question to be asking a stranger. I don't thing that anyone that did get raped would just come out and say it it's just not something a person would want to talk about openly It is scary to have someone violate you and can't do any thing about it or they might kill you. Now some one who had done it might want to brag about it but Why encourage that kind of behavior?

I was molested, not intrusively, per se, but enough that it was an infringement on my person. My dad took care of it. I don't think of it much anymore.

Please give your friend time, sometimes its better to supress for awhile, and please don't talk about it to much it will only upset her. Don't tell anyone eles she wouldn't want anyone to know, it's very upsetting. I hope she is okay
