Masturbating will not affect a woman's period. In fact, masturbation has no harmful physical or emotional effects — none. Most people masturbate because it feels good. Many people feel guilty about it, however, because some people, and some religions, still consider masturbation a taboo — something forbidden. But, from a medical standpoint, it's a perfectly normal and healthy thing to do.
Masturbation has no effect on menstrual flow. But it can relieve menstrual cramps, and, during menstruation, masturbating to orgasm may protect against endometriosis.
It is safe and healthy for a girl to masturbate even when she has her period...!!!!

no, and not every womans cycle is exactly 28 days, some are a little shorter and some are a little longer. my gf masturbates to relieve cramps, and her cycle is regular

It does not affect your cycle in any way. If you choose to masturbate before beginning your period it could help with cramps if you have any.
