For my first 2 years of college I had that.

Then I had a year of 3 F's.

But in the last 2 years I have maintained a 3.6 and finish this semester.

Can I get into ANY law school?

You will need a very good LSAT score to compensate for your GPA. However, an admissions committee would look favorably on your last two years of improvement.

It may be difficult, but if you have a good LSAT score, a great personal statement, great recommendations, and an impressive resume, you can probably get in somewhere. You'll need to look at various schools' admissions standards to see where you have a shot at though.

You certainly can get into Law School with that average. Here's how:

1) consider Law Schools that will take students on part time, e.g., night school basis, while working. They ususally are private and you will have to pay. But the trick is, pass the bar exam, and everything is even after that.

2) As for the grades, just be able to explain the three Fs as an anomoly in an otherwise serious college education pursuit. Something happened, and you refocused your goals.

3) Go for it!!!!!1

Law schools like to see improvement over time if the applicant's overall GPA is low.

You have a marked increase. That's good. Plus, the average is 2.95. That's not that bad actually. Get a decent LSAT score and you can make it into some ABA approved law schools.
