Mine is when the mother started cooking but went to work in the middle of cooking the meal. The father had already left for work so the kid was left all alone at home. The stove caught on fire, but I forgot to by a smoke alarm. Then the Social Worker came and got caught in the middle of the fire while trying to get to the kid. She totally burned to death! The good part was that the kid got to the phone and the fire department came. That was weird!!!!!!!!

I've got a two-
#1- My 2 sims were sitting outside stargazing... when all of the sudden :I... a hunk of waste fell from the sky and hit my girl!!!!
Then the Grimreaper came to take her away, but her husband Pleaded for her and the grimreaper left her... Phew.
But to this day still that hunk of waste is still in my sims yard... smoking away... stll.
#2- My Sim was taking a shower while her husband was cooking, and being the fool he is... he started a fire!!!
My Sim girl (in the shower) must have smelt the fire... so she jumped out of the shower... when she hadn't finished and ran towards the fire... the weird thing was... she wasn't wearing anything?!?!? After the guy called the fire brigade and they had left she was still standing there... naked.
But after awhile... she continued her shower... but she did not go back to the bathroom to have it... thats right, she finished her shower in the kitchen!!! HAHAHAH =]

I think that mine would have to be when my sim started hopping around the house like the Social Bunny. They eventually stopped, though.
There was also a time on The Sims for PS2 when my sim started to take out the trash, but never did. The weird thing is that he never put down the trash bag. He carried it everywhere; to work, to the bathroom, to bed. It was really strange. In the end, I just deleted him :P

on my sims bustin out for ps2 i had this couple that made a infant so i took the crib and moved it outdoors close to the pool and blocked the newborn up. and then i positioned the game on speed and the newborn saved tumbling into the pool and coming lower back up then it began to cry or maybe as it fell in my recreation began slowing. it took me a jiffy to dam up the newborn someplace else and new child protection facilities got here. so i closed off each and every the front to my sims' domicile and she or he saved hitting the fences i positioned up and shrugged. then she teleported into the exterior and became blocked off through the newborn's area then she teleported in there, took the newborn, and did not teleport out so she became stuck conserving the newborn interior the exterior.

ahaha. one day i decided to capture teh grim reaper to put him away for a very long time. i built like 4 walls in a small room. 2x2 spaces, anyway i made another character and when he was a man, i put him in the box. when he died, (took a while) grim reaper came, but he couldnt leave. funny stuff. so then i wondered if i could trap pther ppl. i tired traping the fire department, the robber, the cops, and that bear whoch raids your trash. in the end i cought a couple and ther were all in my back yard just waiting to be let out. good stuff.

Okay my child sim was chatting with one of his friends from school. I go and check what my older sim was doing when I came back I see my sim child kissing the other sim child. I was stunned!! I am not sure what stunned me more child kissing another child or that my Harry Potter sim child was kissing Draco Malfoy sim child?! (0_o) Then to see that in thier relationship bar and memory, they both have crush on each other. Well that did for me, I felt like was going to faint which I think I did cause my sister was wave her hand in front of me.

I've had a couple of funny things happen to my poor sims =)
I had a 3 seat lounge in the house, and when one of the family died I couldn't use the lounge. I couldn't sit on it and I could delete it and I couldn't move it. Eventually the game fixed itself and I could use the lounge again.
When my sim had a child, I bought the teddy bear, and the teddy bear got stuck INSIDE my sim. My sim had teddy bear arms and legs sticking out of it. I could go to bed of sit because of it. (whoa! freaky)
And my favourite...
My sim dies in a kitchen fire. The grim reaper came to collect the soul, but instead of taking my dead sim he caught fire and burnt to death. lol. =)
