You can only put your trust in a person. What they do after that is not based on some script. He may not be what people expected but I can't imagine the mess we would be in if Gore was president. Maybe it's better to say Bush was the lessor of two evils.

This is very very interesting question!! People Voted for him, I will not debate what the actual results were in the election. Both Opponents conceded making him the victor!!
It's really interesting most people are screaming crying etc against the war. Yet the war started in March 19, 03! The last presidental election was in November of 04. Almost 20 month of the Iraq war started.

The American people live in a democracy. The people voted, and George W. Bush had the most votes in several elections. He was entitled to presidency. Many people who voted for him now are indeed against him. The majority of people once supported the war. Now some people believe George W. Bush deceived us. There was evidence that Saddam Hussein had the materials that would enable him to make weapons of mass destruction, and it was confirmed by officials. There was no reason to doubt. Many political leaders with agendas opposing Mr. Bush's wrote him letters after he had won the election, persuading him that Hussein is very dangerous and that he should take action. Whether you attain to a political party, or are independent, I do not see any point in putting the fault on our President. I believe our President is sincere and seeks justice for all things.

Why did you all vote him in after that first term?
After four years why did not more Americans realize that, beyond the media hype, Bush is an immoral lying dictator, a puppet used to manipulate the sheeple... er ...people. He is not as stupid as he is portrayed by the press and comedians. He is crazy like a fox and his "dumbness" makes him more palatable for most Americans who feel this allows them to laugh at him. It makes them more comfortable to have a pres they can laugh at. As for his MBA, well it is amazing what money can purchase!
The Bush family strings are pulled by the men behind the scenes, an international consortium of financiers and munitions dealers. His clan, and the Clintons btw, make indecent sums of money from these wars. Bush is a face for the hidden manipulators who have an age-old, well documented, not-so-hidden agenda for the planet.
You Americans should also take a lesson. ANYONE who has been a member of the Skull and Bones Society is not to be trusted. EVER! That includes Mr. John Kerry. He, too, serves the same masters but just never "caught on" with the public.
These people own and control much of the international press and certainly most of the North American media. It is also well known that if you tell someone something often enough, they will eventually believe it. And those few left holding different opinions are castigated for their "freedom of opinion" different from the new norm. The media did a wonderful job to make sure Bush was re-elected.
As for Bush's "godliness", it is just a pose. Like his father before him, this man will say and do anything to get votes and he knew how to appeal to the religious community of America to get those votes. State religion is a well known tool of these immoral people. The Bush clan worships only the god of $$ and do not care what they do to fill their coffers.
It is embarrassingly naive for anyone to believe these people act from true concern about the human condition either in America OR the Middle East.
It is also appallingly naive to think your main parties actually have different agendas! Republican? Democrat? Perhaps once there were true ideological differences between the parties. Now, the difference is upheld just to give naive voters the illusion of choice and to think they have "freedom to choose".
Educate yourselves folks. In your country you get Faux ... er.. Fox..News from a Bush family owned station. Your media does you no kindness as it twists things around to feed the agenda of these international criminals. Look to some alternative sources for the news. John Stewart and Steven Colbert are much closer to the truth and serve you better than most "straight" reporters.

Gosh... this should keep you looking at cartoons and reading for awhile! Who says humor cannot be educational? Viva the power of the pen and the printed sword.
Many Americans are slowly coming to their senses. Alas now, the war situation is beyond simply pulling the troops out. Alas, these people stand to make many more billions at the cost of the blood of your young men! Not to mention the natives of the region.
Don't count on Billary to change a damn thing either! Bill and Hill own shares in many of the same munitions firms that the Bushes do. Time to do a purge of the old guard and bring in completely new faces and philosophies and PRAY it is not too late for the true freedoms your country was founded upon to survive, for your children to enjoy them.

Hate is an awful word especially when talking about ones President. He has done nothing to warrant this kind of hatred! We, as a nation, are in an unpopular war, people don't like that we are there but congress gave the go ahead for this war! If you want to "hate" anything, let it be directed toward the extremists in Iraq who won't allow democracy to bring peace.

He is the president because more people voted for him. It sounds like you hate him but he won't be the president anymore in a little more than 1 year.
