she seems to try pushing but nothing comes out for a long time? is she constipated?

she might not be constipated. my 3 month old son was constipated for about 2 weeks. He would push and push with no result, but when he could go, he was screaming with the pain, and the poo will be quite firm. there are a lot of options if she is. I had to try just about evrything. I had to give him coloxyl in his bottles, and also glycerol suppositories, which believe me, might no be very nice to give to your baby, but gets everything going. It got my son back to normal in a day or so

depending on how old the baby is id say if the baby hasnt pooped in 3 days its constipiated, just pushing doesnt mean it is though. babies dont have control over there spxinctor muscles yet so they will push liek there straining but really they are not.

if she hasn't gone for a while, from her usual bowel movement, I would say she probably is, and you should contact her peditrician, and or ask a pharmacist at your local drug store.
