A 2.2 gpa first two years.

A few F's.

And a 3.5 for the last 2 years?

Didn't I just answer this?

Yes. Your overall average isn't bad and they like to see an increase if the overall GPA isn't too good.

It really depends on the law school you apply to, but I don't think you can get into the top 20 law schools with those grades honestly. However, if you improve your grades this last 2 years, the law school will realize your improvements and consider that also. If you get a great LSAT score, write about your situation in your personal statement, and get really good recommendation letters. There are plenty of law schools that do not require really high gpa, so keep up your gpa, and try your best.

It would depend on your LSAT. How did you do on that? My dh didn't do that great, maybe 3.0 or 3.2, but did brilliantly on the LSAT and got accepted to all the law schools he applied to (but he didn't apply to any Ivy Leagues though with his grades of course)!
