That's parents scared to tell their kids no. It's that simple. I don't think a kid that's 12 should have a cellphone or talk online. There's way too many weirdos out there for that. I'm an adult and I'm surprised at the amount of pervs out there!
I'm only 28 and I remember when I was a kid, we went outside and played. I guess times have changed. Why pretend when you can play a video game that does the work for you? Some parents really need to strip down back to basics with kids. Girls of 13 are wearing thongs and talking about sex like it's nothing. I guess it just boils down to nothing being sacred anymore. Everything is out in the open now. In some ways that's good but in alot of way, it takes in innocence out of childhood.

I dunno, we have TV's, computers, PDAs, cellphones, internet, scams, spam, identity theft, forums, blogs, myspace, personals, fast foods, CPS telling Parent that the can't administer corpral punishment, Psychologist telling people that they don't have tempers but they're "aggressively playful", pornography at the click of a button, parents "too busy" for their kids, both parents work 40+ hours a week, illegal immigrant toleration, and goverment paying people to sit on their butts and do nothing all day to get welfare while having 10 kids running around the house being "home schooled", it just doesn't make sense that this world has gone mad does it?

I understand I'm 18yrs old the reason why every one is doing this is because they are trying to fit in with some group of some kind to get noticed. Every one will do anything to look cool and to fit in with their friends. They do this to build up their reputation.

It is not the kids, it is the parents. Parents are responsible for their kids. Instead, you see kids being raised by the world. Yes, it is sad, but the blame is to be on the parents, not the kids.
