Well, call it what you will, but shouldn't Planned Parenthood be called Unplanned Parenthood? Isn't Betty happy that her mom was smart enough to keep her? Can you look at your daughter and truly believe that she wasn't viable until she took her first breath? If someone was going to kick her mother in the abdomen when she was in her 6th month, wouldn't you have stopped it to protect the child? Or would you have not shed a tear over the miscarriage? Abortion is only an excuse for people who were too stupid to protect themselves in the first place.

Abortion is Murder. If you have an abortion that means you r already pregnant and it is not or can not be used as birth control. All it means is that women of all ages can have sex all they want and have abortion after abortion. They get pregnant by a different guy and make him pay for the abortion. How is that birth control? If a woman wants an abortion it should be made known to the public so she can be treated just like all the other killers. What is the difference between a woman who is pregnant at 6 weeks and has an abortion and a woman who has a 6 month old who kills her child. The only difference is the age. Think about it. The baby is still alive when she has the abortion. The pill is an excuse for women to have all the sex they want. The same goes for an abortion.

Well, these are the same people who adhere blindly to the church's advice of going forth and multiplying. These are the same people who preach to save the child, give the child up for adoption-but once the child is born, you're on your own. In an ideal world their would be no abortions-or over-population, at that. This isn't an ideal world and mistakes happen. What's right for one person, isn't for another-it's time that people had a little empathy. Then maybe we could work at achieving an ideal world. Until then, I'll try hard and not judge someone who continues to over-burden society with their continual pregnancies while criticizing those who choose not to contribute.

The problem is not the teenagers who get pregnant and have an abortion, though that too is murder. It is the 30 something welfare mothers who decide they already have too many kids, and get abortion after abortion. (on the state) That is using abortion as birth control, and it is wrong.

Wow. You're going to get a lot of opinions on this question. Abortion was never intended to be a method of birth control. Originally, it was intended to save the life of a mother who could not carry a baby safely to full term. Sad to say that now it is more of a way out of an inconvenient pregnancy. Carry the baby to full term. Adoption is an option if you feel you can't keep it.

when people refer to abortion as birth control they are exaggerating...they are trying to say that people are going to have unprotected sex regardless of the chances of becoming pregnant and then when they do become pregnant, they will take the "easy way out" and just have an abortion. they are referring to the slippery slope...that if abortion isnt outlawed, people will have abortions routinely, casually, and without regard. they dont actually think abortion is a contraceptive device.

Abortion is a crime. Killing a child who is about to born. and every body believe in GOD and Best place to find GOD is inside child. So I urge all people to abstain from abortion or otherwise take care during the sex. Use condoms or drug.

a lib bitching about abortion? there are plenty of different reasons for abortion. regardless, what would give one the right to deny a persons right to do unto their themselves? really, i choose to get a tatoo...i choose to have an abortion...i choose to drink a beer...its my body, its my choice.
