And we are all suffering accordingly for our actions in that planet?

This is one of those questions, thanx for adding a new one to my list...

According to the Vedas, there are top, middle, and lower planetary systems. The earth is in the middle planetary system, not the best, and not the worst. Some living entities "fall" from their higher positions into this "hellish" planetary system, and some living entities on earth "fall" into the lower planetary systems, which we consider hellish conditions. But in comparison to the spiritual planetary system, any material planet is considered hellish. Relative Hell. So, yes, we suffer or enjoy according to our actions. If we attain the higher planets, that is good Karma, and if we go to the hellish planets, that is bad Karma. In any case, you can understand that even if this is "hell" to someone else, nothing is permanent here, and so hell cannot last forever. Once we leave the body, we again enter another body to enjoy or suffer according to our actions. It's just a lot harder to advance on a hellish planet.

Excellent question. I never really considered that possibility, although I have always thought that this life was sort of a school for us. That we are spiritual beings merely having a physical experience here so as to learn some lessons and see if we can attain a higher level of existence. That belief is common in New Age thought, and it sort of ties in with the Buddhists' whole reincarnation thing: we keep coming back till we get it right. But your question of this being a hell is compelling! After all, there surely must be intelligent life out there with all the billions of other planets. Maybe they are spritual and have surpassed the physical plane that we are relegated to down here.

I love that question, I have thought of that myself.

Perhaps we have all lived in past lives and all made a mistake of some sort. Now we are being given an opportunity to correct the mistake and live a better life.

Maybe there is a world full of all the people who lived the right way, with none of the problems we face.

Could our population be growing so fast due to so many people who are not living good lives and thus have to come here and attempt it again.

I am not religous and don't affilate myself with any religious group.

These questions are very thought provoking and will be in the back of my mind till the day I die.

Your not gonna get a definitive answer, but hopefully some that will make you think.

I think that if a being is in Hell, it knows where it is and why it's there. What's the point otherwise? The thing about this Earth is that even though it can be a nightmare sometimes, there's always an opportunity to experience God's presence, even if in a small way.

Hell will be devoid of God's presence. That's a pain that we know nothing about and don't want to know anything about. All those little things that come with being in a world (even if it's a fallen one) that's made by God and make life worth living will be gone. Therefore, we should make plans to go to Heaven. It's simple. Ask Jesus to save you from Hell, and He will.

No I never look at it that way.Now my question to you is why or how do you think that? To live here is hard enough but to think that this might be another planet's hell seem to be a little between heaven and hell.Since everything here is not that bad beside there are so many wonderful treasure and discovery happening almost everyday.I not sure if hell would be that grand :(

As long as we are not believing in God anything is possible. It could be that the whole solar system or the universe itself are as small as an atom for someone else. Or we might be an abandoned waste of a bigger experiment. Or we might be a successful result of the same experiment. We can be anywhere between worthless to God. It is just a perspective of how we look at ourselves. Is it that we are not human beings with spiritual experiences but spiritual beings with human experiences?

Good question. Frankly, although I had never thought of that before, now that you have raised it, it does look like a possibility close enough to the truth.

However, I have always believed that both Heaven and Hell are right here on this earth... and importantly, it appears to be more influenced by our own mind... thoughts, wishes and attitudes... than anything outside of us.

It’s is true, but at the same times it’s not true.
My personal opinion, weather this world is a hell or heaven, all in your mind.

If you think of the happier moment of your life now, it’s a heaven
If you think of the most suffering moment now, it’s a hell.

In this world, there is a law of nature. Weather you like it or not, is there.
Whatever thing you have now, got 2 answers. 1st is positive, 2nd is negative. So it’s your choice to choose.

Heaven or Hell? all in your hand.

It has occured to me that it might be heaven if you know where to look. All those folks waiting around to be whisked away to happily ever after, when its right here right now, if you are open to the Grace. Breath on me breath of God - ever wondered about one of the symbols for the Holy Spirit being fire?

you are rather correct. The truth is a bit more complicated. In truth we all requested our time here. This is the test of Gods, which many do not pass. You just do not recall "how" and "why". But the universe gives you clues. So does the omniverse.
