Have you ever heard a neoconservative suggest that violence isn't the answer? They all seem strangely at odds with the American mainstream on this issue...to say nothing of civilized people generally.

They definitely come from a different paradigm than the rest of us. They all went to the Marie Antoinette School of Political Science where the Latin Motto over the entrance translates into "Let them eat cake." Seriously though, if you read their own stuff from the PNAC http://www.newamericancentury.org/ you can see they view the world as a power board. When the Soviet Union collapsed, they saw this as an opportunity to project power in the vacuum left behind, and the Middle East was there for the taking. It is quite a leap into abstraction to get to a place where death and destruction are really just moves on a board for power and plunder, and the lives of civilians and soldiers, no matter the side, are just "collateral damage." It is not that they love war, but that it is a means to an end in their game for Regional Domination.

LOL, yea I would agree with you. Neocons seem really pissed off. Do you ever see Dick Chaney smile? Maybe he cracked a little grin when he shot his friend in the face. :)

they do seem to have a fascination with war and death. answers such as: "bomb them all", "drop a nuke", "kill them all" is proof of that.
