Ok, this is a little gross... but I want to know if this is normal. I know they say you get an increase in the thin whitish milky mild smelling discharge but Im not sure if thats what I am having. My underweart has been staining yellow, and sometimes its a bit (im so sorry this is nasty) crusty. However, I wipe myself very clean after urination so its not that. I am used to discharge being sticky and could see it when you wipe... this just appears in my underwear. Also sometimes it smells badly and I have even noticed a whitish cream like stuff in the folds on my labia.. I shower and keep it clean. I have had 2 yeast infections but this does not itch.

Anyways, is this the normal discharge they talk about or could I have a yeast infection again... thanks and sorry for the gross details!

I'm 23 weeks too and have the same discharge. My doctor says it is normal, and the smell does increase during pregnancy. I too have had a yeast infection (the worst one ever!!!), but my doc said this is not a yeast infection. You are normal though, not to worry! : )

I always wear panty liners because of the lovely discharge that comes with being pregnant-lol! Mine has always been a light yellow and I have never really thought much of it because I have had no itching or other symptoms however I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday and I am going to make sure it is not a yeast infection- I want to get it cleared up just because i am getting closer to my due date. I would ask your doctor about it but I am sure you are ok.

if u're not itching, burning, or have any pain down there and the discharge doesn't have a bad odor to it then u are fine. I have yellow discharge also and been tested for infections and everything is all good.

You didn't say how far along you were, but a lot of women get just crazy discharge during the first trimester. Like super crazy, wear a panty liner at all times type of discharge. Jenny McCarthy, in her first book about motherhood, described her pregnancy discharge as practically burning through her underwear!

However, it wouldn't hurt at all to call your dr. in the morning. A change in discharge could mean so many things.

I can't be sure because I am not a doctor but I have been pregnant twice and it sounds totally normal. I know being pregnant you just tend to worry about everything more because your always looking out for the safety of your child. Don't worry too much about it just call your doctor and make sure it is okay.Better safe then sorry! Congrats on the bundle of joy!

It is probably normal. I am 32 weeks and sometimes get some discharge that I wear a panty liner for, and they told me it was normal. I would call your doctor though to tell them and make sure. You will have to describe it in detail for them also, lol, isn't that always fun! Good luck.

Well this depends on how far along you are . If you are 36 weeks or over I would say yes this is normal . If not I would get it checked most likely what it sounds like is a Vaginal Infection . I have had 3 of these since being pregnant . I am 38 weeks now .

Yeast, but just starting on the inside, so the outside doesn't itch yet.
I know of a neat way to cure it. Insert 1/4 tsp boric acid trapped in a gelatin capsule into vagina as far up as you can get it just before bed. No sex. Then next night and third night same procedure. No sex. Boric acid three nights in a row. No sex between treatments til fourth night. It really works.

Your partner can reinfect you if he is carrying it. He can get it from you and not be affected by it too, just reinfect you. Hope it helps. Also scrubbing and wiping harshly can make these things worse and more itchy.

I have the same problem. Im guesssing its a a combination of normal discharge and an infection. Although it is not unusual for you to be a bit more odor-friendly down there. Im using vagisil odor blocker powder in combination with monistast. It seems to be working pretty well. Good luck
