diamond is not poisonous. just by licking it one can not die, but someone can die only if it is choked in throat and the person gets suffocated. actually u r impressed by hindi movies in which in a scene the actress licks the diamond then she dies immediately, its not true,

This is absolute rubbish, you can eat diamonds with impunity and suffer no damage at all. Swallowing diamonds is in fact a common method used by smugglers to transport them across international borders. It is a good method as diamonds do not show up on X-ray pictures.

because a diamond is non soluble and it is not edible, when a person tries to swallow a diamond it will not be digested by our system even the acids in our stomach cannot break it. remember that a diamond can only be broke by another diamond. Un

actually, its a stupid thinking developed in our mind becauzzzz...of our habit of taking movies seriously that a person dies as soon as he lick the diamond.Its not a poisonous natural substance found.Its not digestable by our body so, not because of licking it but because its particle enter our throat makes small cuts in throat (because of being the sharpest material in the world) and stomach and intestine may not allow it to move further.Hence,leading to a persons death.

diamond s the hardest element in the world..this hardest is used to cut diamonds and other harder substances....our stomach,oesophagus are not such harder to bear diamond...so it cut our internal organ....which leads to death...
