This is simple cancellation. Hard to descibe in writing.

but the answer is

x
---
z

Try this. Multiply the top and the bottom by 1/y since you are multiplying the top and bottom by the same thing you are multiplying by one so it is still the same. Get the idea. I could teach you quickly if I was in the same room. Hard to write this out.

If the x,y,and z is squared in both the numerator and denominator then the variables will all cancel out, thus leaving you with 2/2=1

Remember you can also subtract the power or the denominator from the same variable, thus you would have variables with o power, which automatically makes it a 1.

Any variable with the power of zero, example x^0 = 1, 2^0=1, 4^0=1 .

First that equation could be written as:
X2YZ×Z2XY
It would be spoken as; X squared times Y times Z multiplied by Z squared time X times Y and can be written in factor form by:
X×X×Y×Z× Z×Z×X×Y
It can then be easily solved by adding the numbers of the variables:
X3Z3Y2
The product of a number Nx times Ny always equals Nx+y , so N2×N3=N(2+3=5)=N5
I hope this answers your question. I wrote this answer using Microsoft word and then pasted it here. The factors were all in small case and superscript, not full size numbers next to the letters. It is a limitation of this word editor that it cannot show superscript numbers.
