Because now that cameras are integrated into affordable cellphones, the hicks who report most UFO sightings would have to pretend they were too dumb to snap a picture too.

The aliens have already discovered how to erase the snapshots. So now everyone just thinks it was a figment of their imagination since they took the snapshot but don't have any proof.
