Why do people not like this movie? are yaul so sure its not the final movie that you cant accept it as the finale? Look at most finale movies. PEOPLE DIE IN IT. Its always a HUGE story line.
Thats exactely what 3 was. BIG and PEOPLE DIED.
They cant make a 4 because half of the main charectors no longer have powers or are dead.
to add a new chapter to this would be... beyond words. STUPID.

if they make a part 4 they'll need a new leader, a new enemy, new everything.

yeah well Wolverine isnt a sequel its a solo story.

Well, I liked the movie but, I think they did leave an opening in case they want to make a fourth movie. They could always bring them back somehow, maybe not all of them but, some. I know they are supposed to make a Wolverine movie as well.

It would be presumptious to try and forcast the future of a film franchise when one is not activley involved...
One can not rule out a sequel to the X-men trilogy. Perhaps the whispers of a sequel are teh seeds of a second trilogy. In the closing frames fo X3 we were given a hint that the effects of the 'cure' were possibly either not perminent or as effective as the human once thought.
The key characters throughout the X-men franchise have always been Wolverine, Storm and Magneto. Xavier was important yet he played a secondary role.
In my opinion, I would love to see a second trilogy. I believe there is so much more of the X-Men story left to explore. We can see the team mature further, and Magneto regain his power and launch a renewed assault on the mutants that stand in his way, as well as the human onslaught of the dreaded Sentinals. There is a wealth of story to tap into.

they'll probably have a mutant who can go back in time to change everything.Like in the comics when they had the age of apocalypse.they killed xavier in the past and the present changed.they could do a part 4 where someone stops dark phoenix or go back further

'Wolverine' and 'Magneto' are Spin-offs of the Xmen Trilogy ;-) My problem is nobody understands why I liked the 3rd one way better than the 2nd one and I liked the 2nd one way better than the first one ;-)

Well, the first one is my favourite.
The second and third feels like it's too... Commercialised.
