just i want to protect my files that nobody else can check that.

You would be better off creating a password-protected zip file, honestly. Folder protection is pretty shoddy at best.

You can protect individual files with passwords by going through Tools - Options - Security. You can choose to have 1 or 2 passwords. With 2 passwords, the first is for viewing access and second for editing. I use 2 passwords for datas which can be shared with others but I give them just the first password so they're only able to view the document and not amend it. For 1 password, it's for full access meaning no one else is able to view it without the password. This is used for more confidential documents.
I've not tried the folder protection but you can go to Windows Explorer and right click on the folder. Select properties and choose what works best for your needs.
