Are there any other females out there who still believe in good moral conduct and modesty? It really boils my blood to see so many famous women selling their bodies - they in general make the female gender look bad, like they can only get famous by being amoral.

Yes. You have just mentioned one of the topics that makes me the most angry.

I was especially upset when Nelly Furtado performed "Promiscuous" at the Teen Choice Awards. Some of those girls were 12 and 13! They don't even need to be thinking about those things.

I think it's a real shame when celebrities use their status to promote things that create a bad example for young people. I wish they would stop and think about their whole fan base...not just the adult male fans.

What a very small repsresentative group of women do doesn't mean all women are going to behave exactly as they do. they don't, by ay means, represent the common everyday woman, who has her natural breasts, no plastic surgery, may be about a size 12 or 14, and who has a good grsp of reality.

Hollywood is far from reality in any sense - and for you tot ake it as an indicator of society at large is just buying into a major fllacy.

Yes, there are plenty of decent women about - millions, to be more exacting.

maybe you should STOP looking to Hollywood as your course of moral guidance and start looking at real people, and most of all, yourself.

Yes, I believe in modesty. But many females engage in immoral behavior as a means to survive, while they detest their actions. Others have low self esteem and have come to believe they aren't worth anything more. And then we have the Paris Hilton's, Britney Spears, etc. who do not have low self esteem, have much more than would be needed for survival, and flaunt immorality as though it should be applauded. And unfortunately, by many of our impressionable youth, it is.

I agree. I'm like you are and I don't want to change, even though sometimes I feel like an outcast.
I hate it but I'm holding onto my moral standings.
