There are things I like in each brand. For example, I love MAC Studio Fix foundation and their eyeshadow. It's worth the extra money because I can really tell a difference. For everthing else I will save a few bucks and buy the cheaper stuff. Oh and Loreal makes the best mascara...Voluminous...and it's only $8.

i won;t buy the expensive one immiediately. i would try it and see if there is a different between expensive and cheap one. if the expensive one is really good, i will buy the good one, since the foundation is very important for the skin.

you can go to counter to check out teh MAC, Clinque and call Mary Kay saler representive for trying. if they are much ncier, then buy it . if not, nothing wrong to try.

i buy the very expensive brand, Griogia Amani, and i tried all otehr brand. i found the expensive brand seem not casue me much break-up, so i save money on facial and treatment moeny that way. CLinque is extremely well, because when i wasyounger, my skin can cause break-up easily, adn Clinque won't cause me any skin problem when i put make-up often.

If it works for you then stick to that. Why pay more money for something that your already satisfied with? Buy face cleaning products from expensive brands because they have the best stuff and it really works. Everything else you can just buy from a drug store or wherever.

The saying goes, "if it works, don't fix it".
The more expensive brands are not as different was they would like us to believe and, the ones you named are not the more expensive brands, look at the Clarins counter next time you are in the store ;-)

Stick to the cheap ones if you can. I stopped wearing makeup cause I cant afford to buy the expensive stuff. The department store brands just don't stay on, and I cant stand re doing my makeup all day.

As someone who has spent lots of money on the fancy brand names, and not so much money on the drugstore brands, and have found that the drug store work better for me anyway...I would recommend sticking w/what you're using if it looks good.

I say just try the expensive brands once and see if they suit you even better. if they are the same go with the cheap stuff.

Don't bother spending extra money on the more expensive brands.
The cheap ones are just as good and sometimes even better.
Stick with what looks good on you.
