im a left-handed tennis player and i was considering some raquets. i am currently using Head LM Fire. i have awesome topspin for my forehand. if i can do it right, my backhand has much more topspin. my best shot in my opinion is my forehand, but i can generate more topspin with my backhand if done right.

i know that leftys have the cool lefty spin on their balls, so i was considering getting the Babolat Aeropro Drive. i have a good amount of topspin already with my LM, but was considering getting the Aeropro for an amazing amount of lefty spin, such as Nadal. However, i do like to drive the ball crosscourt often, considering i can do that with lobs and tons of topspin balls.

so i like the LM because i can drive the ball a lot without spin, but i like the Aeropro cause i could really jam my opponent with the lefty spin, especially on the serves. if anyone has any suggestions on how well these raquets compare with each other and considering im left-handed, give me some feed back.

Hi, it seems to me like you're determining the type of shots you can hit by what raquet you use. If that is the case I would clear up that issue first before deciding which raquet to get. The advice I would give you on picking a raquet is just to pick the one that feels the most comfortable to you. As far as the shot making goes that's up to you the player not the equipment you use.If you want to hit all these spins and fancy shots you have to learn the basic fundamentals/foundation of hitting the shots then go from there because a shot is only as good as the foundation that it's built upon. I'll bet you a million bucks all those pros you see hitting the fancy shots learned how to hit them before they even thought about picking up one of those fancy expensive raquets. Basically what I'm saying is if you learn how to hit a shot correctly you'll be able to hit it with any raquet you use spins and all. It's not the equipment you use it's you. Fix you and the raquet will follow. You get what I'm saying? To sum it all up just get the raquet that feels the most comfortable to you and then learn the basic fundamentals of hitting the shots you wanna hit and you'll be able to hit them with any raquet even a wooden one, lol!! Okay maybe I wouldn't go that far but close, lol!!!

I hate these kinda questions for 2 reasons, now im just going off what you seem to be saying so if im incorrect in any of my assumptions feel free to tell me so but....

one, nobody plays exactly like you do, so the only thing that matters is how the stick feels in your hands. Demo them until one of them is the hands down choice.

second, you've already narrowed down your selections without testing out everything you can get your hands on. I must've demo'd about 20 frames before deciding on what I wanted. I was in juniors when agassi was hitting his peak and I thought I played like him so I should get the head frame he was using, demo'd that stick and I was launching balls everywhere but in court. Seemed like a natual fit but I ended up with a prince frame that I didnt see any pro's using cause its what felt the best after my search. Demo everything, it costs like next to nothing to do it so might as well take advantage of it. You'd be surprised to see which sticks you end up liking. In the end it may be one of the 2 you've narrowed it to but you may find that a stick that you'd never would've considered becomes your front runner.

That's great Rod Laver, ask me if I give a crap......

What the heck is your question anyway? I read your entire bit of information and I don't see a question.

"Lefty looking for racquet?"

Are you questioning whether you want a racket or not? Is your name Lefty?

Go with the LM - sounds like you could get good enough to beat Federer.
