To dream that you are entering through a door, signifies new opportunities that will be presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another. In particular, a door that opens to the outside, signifies your need to be more accessible to others, whereas a door that opens into the inside, denotes your desire for inner exploration and self-discovery.

First of all, you're rightin using the word "guess". if I knew you, and knew what was going on in your life, I might do better, but ultimately I feel that if dreams DO mean anything, that the dreamer is really the only one for whom the symbols actually mean anything. Here, I'd guess that you're hiding something and living a double life. Some part of you is split off, and needs integration for you to be a whole person. OR, you're bored with your life and fantasizing about what if things were different. Like I said, I don't know you or where you're at in life, so that's all I got.

Maybe it is God calling you out of this world. Maybe you need to be born again in to the family of God. If you are not saved, than that is what I suspect it is. Has God been working on your heart? Maybe you are seaching for the Lord and don't realize it yet. Go to an Independent, Fundemental, Baptist Church, or a Bible Church and hear the Gospels of Jesus Christ. See how you feel about that. Ask the preacher, what is this thing of being born again? I remember searching. I didn't know what I was searching for. I tried the wrong things, but eventually I got it right. I tell you what. I am thankful today that I know God as my saviour. God is good. My questions have been answered, I have an understanding, and I am content in my earthly lot, whatsoever sore that may be. My mind and my soul are at peace, assured of my salvation. I wish I would have taken care of this years ago, could have saved myself a lot of heart ache. Give your life to the Lord, you will not regret it.

Doors represent transition. The glimpse of something else is what lies on the other side of the transition, should you choose to go through it. Keep in mind, however, that once a door is closed from either side, it is no longer a transition but something in your past that cannot be undone.

Doors are passageways and in our dreams that is their symbolism. Going through a door may represent going from one state of consciousness to another, or from one inner plane to another.

I have a similar thing happen to me. I dream of another house always, the same other house that really does not exist that I know of. I think when that happens, maybe I'm trying to expand my horizons beyond what they are currently. I wouldn't be disturbed by it though.
