The best time of day to take vitamins is probably when it is most convenient for you. Set up a routine time so that you remember to take your vitamins every day. Read the labels of your vitamins. Many vitamins need to be taken in divided doses. If that is the case, spread your vitamin doses throughout the day. Most vitamins can be taken with food so before or after a meal is fine. Again, make sure you read the label on the vitamin bottle. It should tell you if the supplement needs to be taken on an empty stomach.

Depends on what kind of vitamin you wish to take.
Some multi - vitamins you only have one a day. Best taken when you feel you will remember to take them. Such as with a meal, I take my with breakfast.
You can also have some that you have more than one a day. Take one with breakfast and dinner.
However, your decision should include what is written on the package. Some have guarana in them, this gives you a pep up, not good if you are about to go to bed.

I do it first thing in the morning and again in the afternoon....because it gives me a little energy...it used to upset my stomach if I took it on an empty stomach, so I took it at night, but, now that I watch what I eat, taking them in the morning and afternoon gives me a little boost, and at night now, I can't sleep, but, any time is a good time as long as you keep it up...because once you start, and you quit, you don't feel as well...vitamins are great, but, arn't a substitute for good eating.

To get as much as you can from your vitamin, take it in the morning with food.

Well.. many people take a vitamin suppliment in the morning, if it is iron fortified orange juice helps the body to absorb it more efficently.
However, if you experience nausea or burping a nasty taste it would probably be best to take it before bedtime.

In the morning or the after noon. If you take a calcium supplement take it in the evening before bed, due to the fact calcium calms people down.

Personally, i take lotsa vitamins/medications. I just plan mine properly since they require a 2 hour time lapse between one another. i'll just fix the time to take my vitamins/medications around my meal times.
