Is this album actually underappreciated? Ive always considered it an easy top 10 of all time. But ive looked at a ton of charts and a good majority of them dont even have this album on it. What do you think?

This was the ONLY Pearl Jam record that was NOT a collaborative effort by band and singer. Band had already wrote and recorded the music BEFORE they ever met Eddie Vedder. He flies in from L.A. and in a few days writes the lyrics to their music from listening to tapes. The following records, they actually all worked on together so they are more reflective of what the band meant/means to each other and its audience.

Pearl Jam was a band that to me got crappier with every album they put out. However I liked this one. Jeremy was a good song and I would say it was one of their better albums. They were at the height of the alt grunge era with that album.

I like it too. Mabey if Eddie Fedder sung more so people could understand him it would have done better in the ratings.
