In other words, do you constantly watch the clock from the time you get to work until it's time to leave? If so, do you think it makes time go slower or faster?

I am constantly looking at the clock and it does make time move a lot more slowly. I have a boring job.

I look at the clock when I think it's near lunch time, and then again when I think it's time to go home. The rest of the time I don't worry about it. I'm a medical transcriptionist and my work is based on production...the more I produce, the more I get paid. Besides, watching the clock messes up my rhythm and time goes by too slow if I keep looking to see the time.

Time moves by slower if you are constantly watching the clock. Plus, a lot of company's do not care for employees who are constantly worried about what time it is. If you keep yourself busy then time usually goes by a lot quicker.

Yes, I am always concerned with what time it is and if it is close to time to go home. I do not just sit and stare at the clock because that does make the time pass more slowly, I do have work to do so I do it and when I don't have anywork for the moment I find other ways to occupy my time after I have glanced at the time, for example answering your question. I am at work now.

I have had jobs like that and jobs where I didn't watch the clock so much. I prefer the jobs where I'm not watching the clock. I only watch the clock when I'm bored.

Not a clock watcher, too much to do.

If you find yourself frequently watching the clock, you'd probably be better off looking for another job that's more challenging and absorbing - and hopefully more rewarding!

I tend to, yes, because I don't care for my job. Well, one of my jobs anyway. The other one . . . time flies!
