I have an actiontec m1424wr router on the computer upstairs. Downstairs I have 2 computers, one is hardwired to the router upstairs, and the second one, I just got a Belkin Wireless G USB Network adapter. (54mbps, 2.4ghz wireless). I've got the adapter plugged into the computer downstairs, i installed the software...but I'm getting nothing...help please. I know not what to do next.... :(

Well, the actiontec site does not help, but if I was to guess you might have to log into the Modem/Routers setup and turn on the wireless radio.

Just get into the routers GUI (Graphic user interface) by typing 192.168.1.1 and see if ur routers wireless connectivity is enable, if not turn it on, and restart everything once again, may be this will help...
