Why did women start to wear high heels in the first place? (origin)

They do something for our posture, and make our legs downright sexy!! Don't know the origin though.

Mostly women wear high heels because they like to be heighter than the rest of the guy's.

trend, females allure to to seem than toughness even as adult adult males looks toughness fee kind plenty. wearing intense heels is very painful in case you walk and stand lot, I did the same mistake even as i purchased a pair of footwear that were looks very good yet heels were bit intense then I genuinely positioned on, my journey became very undesirable and painful with those footwear, popular when I got here to my workplace my legs began paining and that i felt soreness in my lower back too. That why i do not positioned on intense heels footwear. i do not why females can positioned on intense heels remarkable.

In this patriarchal society that we live in women are rarely allowed to be better, or appear taller (in deeds) than men. At least by wearing high heels, they feel taller and higher than men at least by increasing their height!

On wikipedia it saids to help with horseback riding, and to help with short stature. I am tall and I still wear them because they make my legs look damn fine! Just go to wikipedia and type in High Heels, it says everything there!

There was a time I wore them because they were pretty to look at, stylish, made your legs longer and sexier. However, they are bad for your back and posture, bad for your feet and toes, most of the time they are uncomfortable and you can't walk far in them. So, now a days, I say, "What's the point?"

actually some european queen was very short a couple of centuries ago and she started wearing platform like shoes to gain height, fashion was then added awhile after. now women like to wear them because they make them look more sophisticated, shaplier body, and a firmer butt. it also tones calves
