last night my friend came over and had dinner and we watched a movie. after the movie we were talking and i was looking away. when I looked back at her i noticed her eyes quickly looked down at the opening of my shirt then she looked away a little nervously. Not very noticeable, but I could tell. i looked down and at the side angle yes she could probably see my breast.
later we were leaning towards each other with my laptop between us in front of us on the couch. at first we were about 8 inches apart, then slowly somehow as time went on our arms got closer until our upper arms were touching and neither of us moved them (i loved the touch of her arm against mine) for the longest time and then finally she moved away after about 20 minutes.
So what do you make of this? was she checking out my breasts? Do straight girls do that? I check hers out all the time. Then again, I'm a lesbian..ha.

also, when she had my laptop on her legs last night i went to type and she didn't move it or hand it to me so I just leaned across the couch and would purposely accidentally touch the inside of her legs when turning the computer. she didn't move, she just sat there silently. Do you think she was liking it or didn't notice?

if she is aware that you are a lesbian she could just be curious.. otherwise, I would have to say that a lot of straight women probably tend to not think about things like that (the typing thing.. and being really close to one another). It is also normal to look at others breast, etc whether straight, bi, or gay.

If not for the touching portion of the evening I would have said, as I just said t my mother after laughing at the first answer posted, when you are sporting cleavage it doesn't matter what your orientation is people notice.
Having said that and to address your situation specifically I would say she did notice and with more than just a passing interest.
The whole arm touching thing and for an extended period of time would indicate an intended physical contact to show a predisposition toward intimacy and an obvious desire to know a greater closeness. You my friend just missed a chance to kiss your intended.
Try to pay closer attention next time and don't let the next opportunity pass you by.
I suggest you have dinner and a movie again quite soon.
Next time do the cooking together, have a little wine and be playful. Have something anything with charries in it or just fresh cherries and if at all possible (idealy she will be sprting some cleavage) toss a cherry down the front of her shirt. Then say, I believe i have misplaced my produce. Yes, yes I do believe there is an errant cherry up to mischeif and I think it best I should retreive in an effort to prevent any further disturbance. It will oly take a moment. Then act as though you are about to reach into her blouse. She will likely laugh and jump away and then throw the cherry back at you. You must and I mean must catch the cherry and eat it showing showing calm but smoldering relish in doing so.
She will likely laugh again or she may blush or she may even taunt you. You will now grab a few more cherries and move toward her slowing tossing cherries intot he air and trying to catch them in your mouth. Also tossing one or two up for her to try to catch. If she keeps lauging and yet not moving away from you stand very close to her and as you seem to pause next to her about to perhaps say something slip one arm around her waist. If she doesn't pul away hard lean n a gently kiss her.

I don't know, but it's been a good story so far. I didn't know that lesbians checked out other girls' boobs. It makes sense, and it's kind of cool. I imagine that if you've got a good set anyone would have a hard time not looking. Anyways, whatever she was doing, good luck. By the way, do you ever catch yourself staring at girls' behinds when they wear tight jeans? Or are butts just a guy thing?

I love this. This has happened to me in the past exactly the same way with the laptop! I would get closer to her and oh my (fans self) I could feel my temperature rising. I never took my chance though. I hope you act on what your guts tell you!

There does seem to be some tension there yes. I think she may be curious or she may want you and doesn't know how to approach you. Enjoy these moments and then when it gets to much either love her or ask her hehe. I loved that feeling you are describing.
