Normally this is the time your going every 2 wks down to every week to the ob/gyn, so they should be able to tell you if your baby is turned into position, Remember that dont mean anything though cause the baby can still flip flop around. There isnt no true Sign of going into labor its a wait & Guess Game. Be patient thats the biggest thing. I know most people say you will start nesting & U may experience Diarrah, its like your bodys way of getting you prepared, But still that isnt any indication of labor. So, just be patient & the apple will fall when its Ripe. GOOD LUCK~

Well, everyone signs are different. When I got close to my due date, I keep waiting for my water to break because that's what all my sisters told me. However, my water never broke, I started to have contractions like 10 mins apart and I called my doctor and found out that I was in early labor. This continued for like 8 hours and my contractions started getting closer. By the next day, my back was hurting and it was getting hard for me to walk around so I went to the hospital. The whole prosess took a long time, but from what i was told its like that with your first. Well I hope that was a little helpful and good luck.

going into labor is a process involving groups of muscles contracting in the pelvis, the contractions come one after another with a reduceing interval between them. occassional contractions are not unusual, it's when you have a series coming 10 minutes or less apart that indicate things may be happening. in the mean time just be observant for unusual events like bleeding, unusual discharges, or severe pains in your abdomen. talk to your doctor about this and about the differences between real labor and false labor. good luck waiting for your water to break.and stay healthy.

Your care provider should be able to palpate and tell you exactly what position your baby is in (just ask!) You might be able to tell based on where you are feeling movement-in your ribs? sides? back? Also you might want to find out if the baby is posterior or anterior. (position of the head, to your back or front)
Any book on pregnancy will give you the standard list of labor signs: mucous plug, nesting, increased contractions...
some others are loose bowel movements (even better sign than the mucous plug) reddening of the belly (increasing blood pressure) flaring nostrils (may be too subtle) and you may be able to feel a change in your contractions (like you can feel them in your cervix)

It's not the same for everyone. I felt like I had to go to the bathroom but nothing would come out. The pain was that type of cramp at first....and got worse.....the doctor can tell you if the baby is in position.

Try to get UN-nervous. It is very important that you keep relaxed and focused.
Try nesting, although stay far away from anything strenuous.
Your nipples might start leaking, although this might come along as early as 7 months. You'll KNOW when your labor starts.
We just KNOW inside us when things like this will happen. Good Luck and Congrads!!!

You start having regular contractions. You still have like 7 weeks to go; don't get too excited. Only your doctor can tell you what position your baby is in.
