i really don't get it?

Question

somebody who hates gay and lesbian people please explain to me why you do? but first read what I have to say before you do please.

this doesn’t make any since to me. I usually see Catholics and Christians (not all) hating these people because they think god hates gays, they rape children, they try to make little kids be gay, they shouldn't beable to have kids because then they will be gay, they are unnatural.

ok, no where have I seen in the bible that says god hates gays and even if there is and I missed it, how can you trust a book that you don’t know who REALLY wrote it and with it being written over and over don’t you think its possible throughout the years it have been changed by the people who rewrote it? you don’t know the people who did, how can you trust complete strangers? something you learn when your young.

about them raping children, it isn’t true. yes there is some who do but that doesn’t mean they are the majority of the rapists, its actually straight people

the shouldn’t have kids? why not? you think they will raise gay children? you don’t think straight couples raise gay children? it is what that individual likes, they usually cant help it just happens to them or they just decide on their own if they have been hurt too many times by a female or male.

them being "unnatural" is stupid. if society would just stop saying its unnatural or embarrassing then it wouldn't be. just like being naked, if society would stop saying its shameful to be naked in public then it wouldn’t be and it will be a natural thing, before when the blacks were slaves the society said they were savages but look at it all now, they finally got some since in them and found out that blacks are just like the whites just different color. it all can change in the future.

getting married is a human RIGHT, its not privilege, its a right, which means the people who don’t want gays to get married are hypocrites! the government shouldn’t have anything to do with marriage

People who hates gays and against abortion are very odd, who do you think has the lowest abortion rates? it’s the gays!

i totaly agree with you. i also want to know how valid this whole hating gays things is if evangelical preachers who spend their time converting people preaching the word of god and how he hates gay people and being head chair of the anti-homosexuality alliance ARE GAY. yes not too long ago SEVEN gay bashing bible thumping BUTT ******* evangelicals came out as gay and were soo embarrased about being hypocrits they resigned and now live alone with their lil boyfriends. gay people rule!

For the record, I would just like to state that I am a Christian and I DO NOT hate gay people. I do not stereotype them into a certain category, I don't think they are all rapists, or think that they are bad people. I know several beautiful, nice people that are gay.

However, as a Christian, we believe that the bible is true because it is the basis of our faith. We trust that God inspired some of his prophets to write it, and that it is truth. And yes, the bible does mention that "a man shall not lie with another man." God created man and woman to be a team, to bring forth life. Christians believe that this is the way the human race was intended to be.

Under no circumstances, however, do I (or most Christians) approve of name-calling, ridicule, or brutality in thought or action to people who are gay. We just don't agree with their lifstyle.

I just wanted to point out that Mare just told a bit of a lie. It has not been proven that having a mom and dad is healthier for children's development. However, it has been studied and "proven" that children of same sex couples develop just as well and are just as well adjusted as the average heterosexual couples children. If it's so much better for them to have a mom and dad, maybe single parents should be outlawed as well. If you lose your spouse for whatever reason, your children should immediately be taken from you and placed with a couple. Honestly, think before you make invalid statements folks.

Very very well said. Although I caution you... you're most likely not going to get many valid answers to this, just the same old "the Bible doesn't allow it", "it's unnatural", "it's disgusting", blah blah.

There's a gay couple in my family who are raising an adopted boy, and they're doing an excellent job of it. The kid is growing up in a great home; it's so nice to see. I challenge ANYONE to tell me that they're not doing a good job raising him, or that the boy is somehow not growing up right. They're totally capable of raising him the right way regardless of the fact that they're a gay couple instead of a straight couple.

If people would just learn to shut their mouths, open their minds, and 'try' to get to know a few 'gay people', things in the world would be a whole different story.

Ignorance and fear teaches people to hate anything they are not familar with.The churches ability to twist the teachings of Jesus to conform to what they believe has dominated Culture since the death of Christ. He didn't come to the earth to condem or to teach hate. I bet you not one out of a thousand christians can even tell you who King James was and how he controlled the media of his time,,,the Bible to control the world and religion to believe what he wanted. A closed mind breeds ignorance, fear and hate. Didn't christianity learn anything about Culture and the ignorance of religion from what Hitler Did? Christ did not teach what religion has twisted us to believe. Read and study the original, text the Bible was written in also study the Missing gospels and the study of the writings of judas and his teachings.
There are many factual books out there that teach what us Christ wanted us to know. Not what religion wanted us to know ..there is a difference.

Ok It is not natural.Men shoving penises and other objects up their anuses on a regular basis is in fact very dangerous.Many old homosexuals have severe bowel problems not to mention boils ,absesses,and fistulas .People dont want to hear this but its true.You should read the book The crisis of homosexuality its written by a doctor who writes that gay men would come to him with absesses ,stds,rectal boils,injuries and beg him for releif from their pain and suffering.As for lesbians the pratices can be dangerous to using very large toys and fisting are two problems doctors mention seeing in the book.Its a good book written by a compassionate man.

It's proven better for the children to have a dad and mom for an emontial and phiscaly and rasing kids to do it the best for that kid. Right ? So isn't a parents job to do whats best for the kids? and its not.
