its not necessary cuz he/she should love u for who u are not for how you look but lots of people care and think it is.

For some people it is a plus but a lot of people really look for the whole person this includes what is on the outside as well as what is on the inside (smarts, heart, funniness, friendliness, courage) that sort of thing. Now if you were asking this question and someone repeated it to a blind person now how would that make you feel. They don't care about looks at all. Guess that makes you feel really good huh. So looks should not matter to anyone at all!! lesson learned "Don't judge a book by it's cover, the real treasure could be what is inside."

Have you ever had an experience where, upon first glance, you thought a person was maybe okay-looking, but nothing special...then, after getting to know the person and liking who they are, they seem to get more and more attractive? Besides, beauty is such a subjective concept. Some people don't consider themselves beautiful even though plenty of other people do.

Just loving someone makes them beautiful to you and you to them. What do you care what someone else thinks you look like?
Your loving ways are usually what impresses the one you love.

They should love you for who you are. If your in love with the person as a whole, they will be beautiful to you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Its not necessary but it can help to improve the relationship when the person you are with is physically attracted to you. Also, just because you dont believe you are doesnt mean that your significant other doesnt think you are perfect.

I can definantly say no.Cause the last real boyfriend I had I loved for his personality.And nobody could understand why I was with him or even liked him by looking...cause honestly,he normally wasn't the best looker.

well i believe that if the person loves you that you dont have to be beautiful 24/7.
they will love you just as much in sweatpants, hair a mess..makeup...whatever
real love is more than skin dep...so no its not necessary
unfortunatly we live in a world where it SEEMS as if we need to be beautiful to lure people in--becuase most people dont see whats really inside
so we become insecure--but thats how i feel.

absolutely not. i loved a guy who looked ok but wasn't beautiful. but he balanced me (my weak points were his strong points), that's until he proved himself to be a true jerk.
not necessary to be beautiful, just be the best you you can be and that's all that's needed. oh, but good hygiene is necessary.

No... It's not... I'm not the greatest looking person in the world... But Neither is my girlfriend... And we don't have to impress eachother... I'd just try to impress her because I am me...
