It is A. Think about it when you drop a piece of paper in the air, it slowly floats down to the ground due to air resistance. When you crumble it up it drops a lot faster, not changing its mass, just its shape.

The answer is A. Size and shape. This can be proved by holding a sheet by all four corners and letting the wind blow against it. Vary the sizes and shapes that it is in, fold it, roll it in a ball, change its shape and size.
Every change will result in a different amount of wind resistance yet the mass, or density always remains the same because it is the same object. Therefore size and shape are the primary factors influencing air resistance.

Think about what is going on with air resistance. Air molecules act to slow down an object in motion by friction. Therefore how much air encounters the object, and how much with respect to the area of the object are critical. Those translate to size and shape.
