How much did you drink??? YES! It does work!!!! Drink about an ounce of that and you'll go into labor in thenext 24 hours. I did it with my daughter, my mother-in-law did it with her kids, my sister-in-law did it with her kids, my husband's grandmother did it with 8 of her kids and my best friend did it a few moths ago with hers. It will definately work!!! None of us had any problems from it besides having to run to the bathroom constantly for about an hour.

I drank about 2 1/2 ounces at 6:00pm and the next morning I got up and started having contractions at 9:00am my water broke at 10:00am. I had my daughter that night. ! had an epidural as soon as I was able to. Honestly, the i.v. getting put in was the worst part of the whole thing. Anyways...

I'd definately pack your bags because chances are... you're having a baby tomorrow! GOOD LUCK!!!! I'm SO excited for you!!!!

I tried it twice and the first time it either gave me contractions or really bad cramps and diahera, the second time it did nothing. I tried everything we could think of from hot baths, jumping jacks, sex, spicy foods, I even tried running down 11 sets of stairs in an apartment building. Nothing worked. My son came on his own when he was ready. Then again my sister tried castor oil and it put her into labour. Everyone is different.

am assuming you meant CASTOR oil there???Castrol is a car engine oil...were you planning on drinking it or rubbing it into your abdomen???..folk will tell you what worked for them...are you trying to speed up labour??...babies will come out when they are good and ready...you could try having sex...some say that the sperm helps loosen the mucus cap at entrance to uterus which will help bring on a contraction...then again it could just be the muscle spasms you get when having an orgasm which brings on the labour...good luck!

My friend tried that.. it did not work..she still was 2 wks over due before having her son. She drank a bottle of it with orange juice.. walked about an hour.. then ran to the toilet. I would find another way.. nipple stimulation helps trigger labor.. crazy I know.. but has worked, and that was suggested by my doctor with my 1st son. Good luck.

Yep, you'll get some mighty awful diarrhea and cramps. And it probably won't help you start labor anyway. (I'm assuming you mean CASTOR oil, not castrol oil....that would be messy and icky!!)

i just had my son on the 1st. I drink some of that stuff and as soon as I saw the "C" word i could taste it in the back of my mouth....YUCK!!!!! and I'm not talking about how it tasted going 'down'......i meant coming 'up'. about a hour after drinking that stuff, it was coming out both ends if you know what i mean :( and the baby came a week later! lol

ok I never used it but my mother did when she was having my brother. It made her very very very sick but yes it helped with her contractions so that she went into labor faster but I don't think anything could make labor worse then labor is already.
