The earliest is usually 16 weeks and they would rather it be 20 weeks but best of luck!

I don't know for sure.. but here's my experience. I had an ultrasound at 11 weeks by the nurse practitioner. She said even at that age they can tell the sex, but it is extremely difficult with their technology. She told me that the doctor will not do an ultrasound and determine sex until at least 20 weeks.

Depends, are you having a 3d ultrasound?
If not, they can usually tell by 20 weeks.
I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks & my baby's legs were crossed.
Had another one done @ 25 weeks & they could tell)

It really all depends on their equipment, the baby's position and they're willingness to try. Many women on my ddb have found out the sex at 14-16 weeks. I was unable to. I had an ultrasound at 14.2 weeks and for me the baby would not cooperate. Good Luck!!

They like you to be around 20 weeks, 4 Months Preggy... Thats the closest time to when they can tell what gender the baby is. Be prepared to go in with a full bladder also, Cause the fuller your bladder the less movement the baby can do, So easier to check the kiddo out.

when i was pregnant with my son, i had a ultrasound at 15 weeks and they could tell he was a boy. but with my second son they tried to see what sex he was at 16 weeks and they couldn't tell, so they sent me back at 20 weeks. so it is possible, i guess it just depends on the baby:) i hope i have helped

They might be able to tell if the baby is in the right position but it is a little early-it is best to be closer to 20 weeks for it to be more accurate.

They might can make a guess, but I wouldn't buy anything yet! Try to have another one in at least 3 more weeks. I had mine at 18 weeks and it was really obvious at that point that it was a girl!

Congrats Mommy!
