The problem is most likely not your credit card. For every song and artist they must have a different distributor/record company division in every different country. So the songs on iTunes UK are licensed to be sold ONLY in that particular country. That's the problem right there in-a-nut-shell ;-)

The other answer is right about contacting your credit card company. Make sure that your card is carried by iTunes UK, though. The have EuroVisa in Europe. However, I've used my US credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) in Europe lots of time with no problems.

If you get rejected again you can buy a virtual credit card online. Look up Virtual Visa. You can recharge it like a gift card and use it specifically for online purchases.

You should be able to buy a song, if your credit card is being rejected you need to call your credit card company and tell them you are trying to buy songs on the iTunes UK website. Since it is a foreign store, most times the security on credit cards will block the purchases unless you contact your credit card company.

because that song is not available for sale in the us. the only other options you have are to go to a music store that specializes in import music, or to download it illegally.
