Is it safe to give address and name and phone # to someone you dont know over internet? I know it says it all!!! It cannot be safe to do such a thing, but I want to know is there any danger? Can anyone use my name and address and phone# to do anything?

No it is not safe. If the person you happen to give it out to is a weirdo, they could literally come to your house and kill you. And no, this is not an over exaggeration. It has happened. A few years ago there was a thirteen year old girl who gave out her name and address to someone who she had come to know as a friend over the Internet. The guy was actually was actually in his thirties or forties and within a few days, came to her house and killed her. There are a lot of really creepy people out there. Don't do it, you will just be putting yourself at risk.

Don't ever give out your name,#,and address to anyone over the inet.I colud be the last thing you do.Just tell you would reather meet in a public place or just chat on line.If they don't want to do that leave them alone.

You could give your first name but not address nor phone number that is not a good idea.
