Apathy, because that could lead people to CHOOSE ignorance. Double whammy.

As bad as they both can be, I think that apathy is worse. Because with apathy, you see something, you recognize the problem, and you purposefully choose not to acknowledge it. Apathy is basically the same as Indifference, which basically means that someone doesn't care enough to respond. This could be equally horrible whether you were refusing to acknowledge something bad, or something good. For example, some Holocaust survivors believe that indifference is one of the greatest evils in the world because in part it was indifference that caused many Jewish people to die, and if people remain indifferent today, more Holocausts could still occur. If you are apathetic about someone with great achievements, then you are refusing to acknowledge talent, which is also a terrible thing.
Basically, on the technical level, Ignorance and Apathy will both have the same outcome. Neither will do anything, and therefore, nothing will happen. But somehow, I guess Ignorance seems a little more...forgivable? Because someone who is ignorant doesn't know they are doing anything wrong... *shrug*

Wow...umm they both are pretty bad...but I suppose Apathy because you may know a certain thing is wrong but you really just dont care..have no feelings towards it...careless if it gets sorted out. At least ignorance you dont know any better...but you can learn and change that. Apathy you just dont really give a _ _ _ _

Apathy is far worse. You can not fault a man for not caring about something he does not know, but if he knows and chooses not to care? Whats wrong with the world today is not enough people care.

Apathy is worse, because ignorance can be fixed more easily. When you don't know about something, there's always hope that you will learn about it, but there really isn't much you can do for someone who genuinely doesn't care.

Apathy is the worst human trait that is the hardest to overcome. You can overcome ignorance if you have the will to do it. If you don't care that you are ignorant, that apathy will keep you from enjoying the fullness of your life. Apathy means that you don't care what happens to you life, your friends, your family, your community, your future - nothing interests you enough to make you care.
Interestingly enough, you have to care enough to overcome apathy. That means that apathy becomes a circular problem. You have to overcome your own ignorance of your situation enough to realize that your apathy is holding you back from growing in inner strength and fortitude to begin giving of yourself to care. Until you grow inside, learn to care enough to give up your apathy, you will remain outside your real life.

Apathy because it is a choice not to care!
Ignorance can be overcome with knowledge, but apathy is a personal choice to turn a blind eye or deaf ear on an issue.

APATHY!!!! Nothing can be worse than not caring about anything. I would love to be totally ignorant (not really very far from that as it is!) than apathetic. At least I'll care that I dont know anything and try to do something about it.

Apathy is worse.
Ignorance - No one can know everything about everything! If you are ignorant of a subject, you can choose to find out the information, then act on it.
Apathy - You don't choose to act if you do have the information, or don't even bother to find out info (if you don't know it- then you can choose to be both ignorant AND apathetic).
