This is a fairly common problem. If you have many tabs set to open when starting Internet Explorer, it can cause it to crash. IT has nothing to do with your computer, just IE 7. To fix this, go to START > RUN. THen type: iexplore "www.google.com" just without the quotes. It will launch with google as the only tab. Then go the icon with a house and click the arrow next to it and go to "remove" and remove the pages so there is only one.

If that doesn't work, then go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS. Click on Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). If that fixes it, then it is definitely what was wrong. To disable the potentially bad add on, there are more steps under Tools > Internet Options. In the Programs tab, there will be a button for yoou to manage your add -ons. If you are good with computers, then you should know which to disable. If you are not sure which to disable, email me and I will tell you.

That's just one of the problems with IE7. And it's also one of the reasons most people don't keep it. The best thing I can recommend is to uninstall it and go back to IE6 until Microsoft gets their act together and fixes it. To remove IE7, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and the Show Updates box at the top. When the list loads, find Internet Explorer 7 and click Yes to remove it. After removal, close Control Panel and restart the computer for the change to take effect.

There is some problem with one of your add-ons. Go to TOOLS, then MANAGE ADD-ONS, then select the add-on that is causing a problem (and disable it). You may want to try to use Firefox, Opera or Avant Browser. I don't like IE very much, but if you like it then do not install another browser. If you do, look on www.download.com to download any of those browsers that I mentioned.

don't use IE7, got too many bugs
uninstall IE7 will bring you back to IE6

Remove it in Add/Remove Programs on the control panel, then reinstall it by Microsoft Update.
