If I delete a friend on MySpace will it show something like "This friend has deleted you"? Or will they not know until they try to view my profile again?
How do you block someone on MySpace? And if you do block them what does it restrict them from doing? Can they still message you? Etc.

You can accomplish both things @ one time. Go to their page and in the contact space click on block user. They will not be able to send you messages. You will no longer be on their friends list and of course they won't be on your friend's list. They will figure it out when they notice you are no longer on their friend list. If they really want to contact you they can just create a new profile and use it to contact you. If you really don't want to be bothered you can make your profile private. That way only people on your friend's list will have access to your page. :)

If you delete someone on myspace, they will know by the number of their friends has minus one. However, if they don't follow the count they will not know.
As for actually blocking someone, I believe you have to remove them from your friend list, and set your profile to private.

Theres a "block" option in the contact box it will ask you if you really want to block this user and offer a comfromation message then both block them and remove them from your friends list. They will no longer be able to contact you.

per chance you talked too a lot. or perchance he thinks you want him. Is he a own chum? Or a myspace chum? If he's only a myspace chum than do not trouble too a lot about it. there is loads of people available no longer only him.

sounds like you needa set your myspace on private since your worried about blocking people and deleting them... becuase even if you delete them they will still be able to see your profile , just not able to comment you.. so be safe and just set your account to private...it'll keep all the wierdo's out ! :]

They won't know, also if you click their profile you can click block this user.
