I just got a Nintendo Wii and whenever I turn it off, a red light still stays on. Is it safe to leave it like that, like you would a VCR or something, or should I unplug it?
Also, if there are any games for Wii that you would recommend, what would they be? Thanks.

Yes, the red light will stay on and that's safe.

I would recommend Excite Trucks and Ravin' Rabbids. Elebits is alright, and I'm a little disappointed in Monkey Ball.

the red light will always be on when the system is off. and if you hook it up to the internet, the light will turn yellow. so dont worry about the light. as far as games, i am sure you heard to get zelda. and yes, its a great game. i had a really fun time with trauma center and monkey ball. both were a lot of fun.

The red light is normal, don't unplug.

Now the games, oh here we go...

The Ledgen of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Excite Truck
Warioware: Smooth Moves (awsome)
Rayman Raving Rabbits (very fun,funny)

Just like most of today's plug-in electronics, as well as consoles, the red light indicates standby mode.

I will recommend AGAINST getting Red Steel. If in doubt, read the reviews.
