I wouldn't marry someone who wanted a prenup. That's just saying "well it is a life long commitment, but I don't take commitment that seriously."
When my lover and I get married and we'll be thousands of dollars in debt because we are students. There's really no point, but in the what if world of me marrying someone with money or me having my own money, well still, there would be no prenup.

Well before the marraige. If you spring it on her, then it won't be worth the paper it's written on. There should be enough time to have her lawyer look it over. Serious, these are common reasons that prenups are thrown out.

Be honest with her and tell her... There is not right or wrong time.... I personally do not believe in prenups as to me it says you someday may want out of the marriage but this is your choice so to each their own.
